Corrado Colombo

Corrado Colombo (Lecco, 1956) is a director, writer, and teacher. After working in cinema between Lecco and Rome as an assistant director, director, producer, and documentarian, he chose to dedicate himself to teaching, bringing the language of cinema into schools. He has always paired his educational work with writing, weaving together autobiography, reflections on cinema, memory, and poetry. Some of his most recent projects include "Prandino - the Other Visconti," the poetry collection "Waiting to Wait," "Master Corrado: The Didactics of Wonder," and he is preparing "Reading Films - How I Learned to Love Cinema," a sort of cine-autobiography, and for spring 2027, the novel "The Waiting and the Absence."
