J.M. Sloan is an author with a background as diverse as his stories, transitioning from a long career in the corporate world to his current work in law enforcement. His debut book, Daddy Broke His Bicycle, offers an intimate look at the complexities of modern family life.

When he isn't writing or investigating, he is likely cooking for his family, gaming with his son, or letting his wife plan his next DIY project and their future travel adventures. He lives with his wife, son, and three over-zealous dogs, and is currently developing the follow-up companion book, Mommy Restored the Table.
