Aaron Yorke

Aaron Yorke is the founder of Accepting Behaviour Ltd and the creator of the ACCEPT Approach, an evidence- based, humanistic framework for supporting autistic and other neurodivergent children and young people. With over 20 years of experience in education, Aaron has dedicated his career to challenging traditional deficit-based models and promoting approaches built on acceptance, compassion and unconditional positive regard.

Working alongside families, schools and local authorities across the UK, he has supported neurodivergent children and young people experiencing complex issues within education and mental health. His work combines research with practical application, translating psychological theory into strategies that professionals and families can use in everyday practice.

Aaron is passionate about reshaping how we understand distress, behaviour and learning, advocating for support that begins by accepting the child rather than trying to change them. His work continues to influence educators, practitioners and organisations seeking more humane and effective ways to support neurodivergent children and young people.
