Arijit Roy is a Principal Architect, technology leader, and author with more than two decades of experience designing and building large-scale enterprise systems. Throughout his 23+ year career, he has worked at the intersection of software architecture, cloud computing, data platforms, and distributed systems, helping organizations modernize applications and build resilient, scalable technology foundations.

His expertise spans cloud-native architectures, microservices, platform engineering, data engineering, observability, and enterprise modernization. He has led architecture initiatives for mission-critical systems across global organizations and has been a trusted mentor to engineers and architects navigating the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Arijit is passionate about simplifying complex technical concepts and translating architectural theory into practical guidance that engineers can apply in the real world. This passion led him to write *Mastering Cloud System Design*, a comprehensive guide that helps software engineers, architects, and technology leaders understand the principles, patterns, and trade-offs involved in designing modern cloud systems.
