Julia B. Pullen is a veteran educator with over two decades of classroom experience, having taught and mentored students across every stage of the academic journey, from preschool circle time to college seminar rooms.

For the first half of her career, Julia did things the hard way. She spent her evenings and weekends buried under piles of construction paper, dull scissors, and photocopied worksheets. She proudly wore the label of not being a "tech person" until the sheer exhaustion of reinventing the wheel every Sunday night finally pushed her to find a better, faster system.

Learning digital design software did not come naturally to her at first, but mastering Canva completely transformed her teaching practice. It allowed her to build beautiful, highly functional classroom materials in a fraction of the time, giving her back her evenings and her sanity.

Today, Julia writes practical, step-by-step design guides specifically for educators. She is passionate about helping teachers at every grade level overcome their technology hesitation and build digital systems that actually work. Her books are everything she wishes someone had handed her years ago: warm, gimmick-free manuals written by a real teacher, for real teachers.

When she is not writing or designing new classroom resources, you can find her helping fellow educators reclaim their planning periods and remembering why they fell in love with teaching in the first place.
