Michael Gilmore

Michael Gilmore is an author, screenwriter, and founder of Distance Line Publishing. His work includes gripping adult fiction inspired by real-world events, as well as meaningful children’s stories designed to encourage confidence, emotional growth, and perseverance.

He is the author of the Critical Failure series, including Abandon Ship, Sealed, and Controlled Burn, along with the children’s series Milo’s Big Little Lessons. Michael’s storytelling explores resilience, human choices, family, survival, and the consequences of systems pushed beyond their limits.

Through Distance Line Publishing and Distance Line Productions, Michael continues to develop original books, films, limited series, animation, and short-form stories for audiences of all ages.
