LaMor Clements

LaMor Clements is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Trauma-informed E-RYT 500, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Meditation Facilitator, Ayurveda Lifestyle Coach, and Personal Trainer whose yoga journey has taken her through the USA, Canada, and India. She has completed numerous certifications through YogaFit Systems Worldwide, including 500-hour RYT, 200-hour RYT trauma-sensitive yoga, 900-hour yoga therapy, and specialty studies in ayurveda and yoga nidra. She has also benefited from studies with Amanaska Yoga and the Life in Yoga Institute. She is a graduate of the Yoga of Awareness for Cancer Program at Duke University’s Center for Integrative Medicine; a Level 1 graduate of the Integrative Restoration Institute’s iRest® Yoga Nidra program; and a HeartMath® Certified Practitioner (Clinical Certification for Stress, Anxiety, and Self-Regulation).

LaMor has been providing yoga, meditation, fitness education, and yoga therapy in private and group settings for two decades and has worked with special conditions such as breast cancer, PTSD, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, stroke, hip and knee replacements, menopause, and lower back pain. She is the creator and presenter of in-person and online workshops on topics such as Understanding the Koshas; The Koshas and the Science of Yoga Nidra; The Kleshas and the Koshas, Ayurveda Foundations and Lifestyle; Yoga for Pelvic Floor; Yoga for Menopause; The Science and Practice of Yoga Nidra; Kirtan Kriya and Brain Health; Meditation and Mindfulness; Balancing the Chakras; and Living the Eight Limbs of Yoga.

In addition to her private practice, LaMor is a faculty member and practicum mentor for the YogaFit Systems Worldwide IAYT-accredited 900-hour yoga therapy program. She also serves as program coordinator for the 100-hour yoga nidra certification, is faculty member for the 200-hour and 300-hour RYT and trauma-informed programs, and has authored and contributed to several training manuals.

In 2018, as part of her studies with Amanaska Yoga, LaMor was an invited panelist at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto, Canada, discussing the teachings of Sri J. Krishnamurti and the exploration of self-knowing in fostering inter-religious harmony and world peace. And, in 2025, she presented a teaching practice on the Pañca Kośa model for client interaction and insight at the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research (SYTAR).
