Aleh Pekar

Aleh Pekar has spent sixteen years across most of the operations map: university

sysadmin, banking networks, BGP at telco scale, security engineering at Check Point,

and DevOps in product companies, where he now leads an infrastructure team. The breadth

is the point. He has been the one racking the server, the one debugging the routing

table, the one hardening the firewall, and the one paged when any of it broke.

The certificate drawer covers the same ground: CKA and CKS for Kubernetes, CCNP and

CCDP for networks, CCSE for security, the full HashiCorp stack, LPIC for Linux, and

Python among the rest. The list stopped fitting on one line some years ago.

His first book, "Prompt to Production: A Practitioner's Guide to DevOps and SRE in the

AI Era," was written the way he works: at the terminal, opinionated, allergic to hype,

and convinced that the engineer who reads the diff is the one who sleeps at night. It is

a working practitioner's account of putting AI and LLM tools to real use across

infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, incidents, security, and documentation, without

losing the engineering discipline that keeps production up.
