Amin Boroomand, PhD, is an entrepreneur, data scientist, and co-founder and CEO of CakeClubŪ, a personal finance platform helping Gen Z and Millennials manage their cash flow, build healthier money habits, and pursue financial freedom.
He earned his doctorate from the University of California, Merced, studying how individual choices shape collective outcomes. Before CakeClub, he worked as a data scientist across biotech, complex systems, and finance, advised CEOs in high-tech sectors, and was named one of MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 in Italy (TR35).
An immigrant himself, Amin knows firsthand what it takes to build a financial life from scratch. That experience taught him that money is about psychology, behavior, and building habits just as much as it is about math. He is the co-author of Master Your Cash Flow: Let Them Eat Cake and Build Wealth Too! His work is grounded in the belief that building a wealthy future should not require giving up the life you want today.
