Jonathan Schulman

Jonathan Schulman is an elementary school educator who has spent more than 20 years helping children explore history, civics, community, and the natural world.

His love for nature began during summers at White Lake, where generations of his family have gathered for nearly 100 years.

Inspired by a real bald eagle that appeared over the lake and surrounding forest just a few years ago, Jonathan wrote "Every Eagle: A Story of Pride and Belonging at White Lake" to celebrate community, belonging, and the lessons we can learn from nature.

When he is not teaching or writing, Jonathan enjoys exploring nature, visiting historic sites, and spending time with family and friends.
