I started writing when I was thirteen. Since then, I've mostly accumulated thousands of pages, countless questions, and a mild obsession with archetypes. I haven't found a cure for it. In fact, I hope it's contagious.

I'm fascinated by what makes us human, and I explore that question through countless journeys and worlds—psychological, magical, technological, and physical.

Jungian psychology is a major source of inspiration for me, but I especially enjoy reshaping it into the raw material of my own stories.

I primarily write Dark Fantasy and Fantasy with touches of Science Fiction, because I believe they're the perfect playground for exploring these ideas.

My novels are about journeys, mysteries, and adventure, but also about everything that shapes the shadows within us.

I'm convinced that stories can change the way we see the world.

If one of mine stays with you long after you've turned the final page, then I'll know I've achieved what I set out to do.
