Glenn Crestfield writes stories for children and adults, with a particular love for old folk tales, forgotten legends, and the wisdom they have carried from one generation to another.

His Old Tales. Timeless Wisdom series brings traditional European stories to modern readers through atmospheric retellings and richly illustrated editions. The stories often return to enduring themes: courage, family, loyalty, kindness, and the choices people make when there is no easy answer.

As an author and father, Glenn is especially interested in stories that work first of all as good tales, but also give readers something to think about after the final page. Many of the old stories he returns to ask familiar questions: whom to trust, what makes a home, when to listen to advice, and when to follow one’s own judgment.

Alongside fiction, he also writes about family life, responsibility, caregiving, and the challenges of navigating a changing world.

He hopes to create books that families can enjoy together and remember long after the story is finished.
