Theo Kernel is an Australian technologist who has spent two decades in the IT industry, long enough to watch several “revolutions” arrive, over-promise, and settle into ordinary tools people actually use. He came to artificial intelligence the way most people will: needing to get real work done with it, and wanting to understand what he was trusting before he trusted it.
Away from the screen he is happiest in a kitchen. That is where this series’ one stubborn analogy comes from, and where its central conviction was formed: that anything worth understanding can be explained at the table, in plain language, without jargon and without hype.
AI at the Table is his first series.
