I wish I had a dramatic backstory to offer, but my life stays firmly within PG limits, so I’ll give a wink and leave the rest to your imagination. I will share this much: I’m a Virginian, a father of three, and a man whose wife—against all known laws of lease renewal—has stuck with him for forty‑five years. I’ve got three grandchildren, with a hunch I’ll meet the great‑grands down the line. So here I am, an author in his final career, charting out the next thirty years. Watch out, 100.
