John E Moore's

John E. Moore was born and raised in the small border town of Deming, New Mexico. Though considered illiterate during his early years and thought to be dyslexic, tutoring helped him develop his reading skills, and he later excelled in language arts, creative writing, archery, and history. After high school, he attended the Santa Fe Corrections Academy and became a correctional officer. Following devastating family losses during the COVID outbreak, writing became an important personal outlet. A fan of Stephen King, horror films, and survival horror games, John currently lives in Las Cruces and works as a detention center lieutenant.
