Joy E. Young

Joy E. Young is an educator, author, and lifelong learner with a Master of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Her work with multilingual learners has included volunteer programs, tutoring, online education, international schools, and public education.

Inspired by her own experience learning Spanish as an adult, Joy writes about teaching, language learning, and the power of seeing education through a student's perspective. Her goal is to help educators cultivate greater empathy, curiosity, and understanding in their classrooms.

When she's not writing, Joy enjoys traveling with her husband, Brian, exploring new cultures, and discovering that the best learning often happens outside the classroom.
