David Kroeger

David K. Kroeger is an author, retired school nutrition professional, U.S. Army veteran, and lifelong believer that some of the most meaningful stories are found in the places people often overlook.

After more than two decades working in K-12 school nutrition, David saw firsthand that feeding students is about far more than what is served on a tray. His book, Lunch Lady Legacy: The Hidden Heart of the School: Feeding Students, Building Community, Changing Lives, celebrates the dedicated people behind the serving line and the lasting impact they have on students, schools, and communities.

Retirement brought a new chapter and a new kind of classroom. David and his wife, Connie, embraced RV living and the adventures, challenges, mistakes, and lessons that come with it. Drawing from those experiences, he wrote Your RV Blueprint: The Ultimate Guide from Dream to Drive, helping others approach RV ownership with greater knowledge, confidence, and preparation.

Whether writing about school cafeterias or life on the road, David brings the same philosophy to his work: experience matters, people matter, and the lessons we learn are worth sharing.

When he isn’t writing, David enjoys life with Connie, discovering what comes next, tackling the occasional RV project, and appreciating the simple moments along the way, especially a beautiful Colorado sunset.
