Yang Chen

I am a practicing Cardiologist and Internal Medicine Physician and was trained at the University of Cambridge (2010) and University of Oxford (2013). I hold an Executive MSc with distinction in Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences from LSE (2021) and was awarded a PhD from UCL in 2026, for work in pragmatic randomised controlled trials that are embedded in electronic health record systems.

I work a portfolio career that allows me to balance my interests which sit at the intersection of clinical practice, pragmatic trials, product translation, and the evaluation of digital technologies in medicine.
