Grace S. Thompson

Grace S. Thompson is a biblical wellness author and lifelong student of Scripture's teachings on nourishment, healing, and wholeness.

Her journey began not in a classroom, but in her grandmother's kitchen — where food was never just sustenance, but an act of faith. Passed down through generations were not only recipes, but a reverence for the plants, herbs, oils, and foods mentioned throughout Scripture: the olive trees of the Mediterranean, the hyssop of the Psalms, the figs and pomegranates of the Promised Land.

Decades later, Grace began asking a question that would define her work: What did God's Word actually teach us about how to eat, heal, and live? The answer — found across hundreds of biblical passages and confirmed by modern nutritional science — became the foundation of everything she writes.

Grace is the author of a growing series exploring the healing wisdom of Scripture, including Healing Foods of the Bible, Healing Drinks of the Bible, and forthcoming titles on biblical herbs, sacred oils, and ancient wellness practices. Each book bridges ancient wisdom and modern science, written for readers who believe that the path to health and the path to faith are not separate roads.

"God gave us everything we need to thrive," Grace says. "It was written long before we thought to look for it."

Grace lives in the American South with her husband, her herb garden, and a well-worn copy of Scripture.
