As a lifelong snake advocate and ambassador, I fell in love with snakes as boy, and that passion has never subsided. "THE ONLY GOOD SNAKE . . . Tales from a Rattlesnake Whisperer” is a memoir about my life as a snake enthusiast, hobbyist, breeder, educator, photographer and relocator. It is a summary of my infatuation with these amazing and misunderstood reptiles, their effect on me personally, the deeply-rooted superstitions that surround them, the reactions of humans toward them, and their vital importance in the natural world. My years as freelance writer culminated in the creation of this book, and I am eager to share it with like-minded readers as well as those who wish to learn more about these indispensable creatures and the importance of peaceful coexistence with all of nature.
