Amy Alznauer is the award-winning author of books for young readers. Her debut middle-grade novel, Where the Wild Horses Are, is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection and received starred reviews from Booklist, Publishers Weekly, and School Library Journal. A recipient of the Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction and the Christopher Award, Amy is also a mathematics lecturer at Northwestern University.
