Henry M. Kaiser

Dr. Kaiser received a BA from Lawrence College in 1966, an MBA from Stanford in 1968, and after service in the US Navy joined Kaiser Industries in both the industrial and non-profit Health Care activities. When Kaiser Industries announced its plan of voluntary liquidation was announced, he continued his governance activities at “Kaiser”, serving for 30 years on the Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan Board and 20 years as Trustee of the Kaiser Family Foundation, and transitioned into a 50-year career in finance, serving 1) as an entrepreneur, forming and financing start-up and early-stage technology and financial service companies, 2) on the team of three venture capital funds, and 3) as a provider of capital to the venture capital industry from the Kaiser Family Foundation investment activity. Dr. Kaiser received a PsyD degree from Meridian University in 2010 and cited course readings in his Memoir, “Inheritance Lost – Heritage Transformed”, published in 2026.
