Paul McCrea

E. Paul McCrea has spent much of his career interested in what happens next—and what organizations do when “next” arrives sooner than expected.

His career has moved across media, education, marketing, communications, technology and organizational strategy, from building entrepreneurial ventures to leading marketing and communications functions within major public and private organizations. Along the way, he earned an MBA in Marketing Management and developed a particular interest in how emerging technologies change organizations, work and leadership.

Over the past four years, that interest has increasingly focused on artificial intelligence and organizational adaptability.

McCrea is the founder of Influence Pro Research™, where his work examines AI adoption, workforce transformation, leadership, economics, geopolitics and the organizational conditions that determine whether technological change actually produces value.

His Global Executive Intelligence Review™ 2026 — Founding Edition grew out of an ambitious question: What happens when you stop looking at AI in isolation and examine it alongside the other forces reshaping organizations?

The resulting research synthesized 28 major international research reports and more than 500 pages of supporting comparative analysis to identify where the evidence converges, where it conflicts, and what leaders should actually pay attention to.

McCrea's interests extend beyond research and business. His forthcoming memoir, In the Orbit of Peter Nygård, draws on another remarkable chapter of his career and explores leadership, ambition, corporate culture and life inside an extraordinary business environment.

Across both very different kinds of books runs a similar curiosity: how people and organizations respond when the world around them changes.

He lives in Canada and continues to research, write, speak and occasionally question confident predictions about the future.
