Oh dear, these blurbs are always awkward because you know it’s the author writing about themself...

Well, anyway—

As long as she can remember, Sarah has loved making art and telling stories. Whether it was writing chaotic short stories and poetry in a messy scrawl with backwards S’s and no spaces between the letters at age 4, putting on semi-original (*heavily plagiarized) musicals with her dolls in elementary school, composing music and dancing ballet in high school, singing in choirs and making costumes in college, or choreographing musicals and making up stories on stage with her improv friends post-college, she’s been an artist and storyteller her entire life.

Novel-writing has always been present, though in the background, as her dirty little secret.

It wasn’t until several light novels she translated from Japanese to English got published in the early 2020s that she finally realized she wasn’t allowed to have impostor syndrome and she should just take the plunge and publish her own stories. Hopefully at least one or two people will be happy she did.

When she’s not telling stories or making art, Sarah enjoys cooking and eating epic feasts with her husband Joshua, listening to metal (very loudly), snuggling with her cats, long walks in nature, and stimming around the house (to Joshua’s amusement.)
