Welcome! I’m Danielle Gardner, children’s author and creator of the Ellie and the Magic Teapot Adventures.

I believe some of the best childhood memories begin with a good story—and that imagination can open doors to places we’ve never been, times we’ve never experienced, and lessons we may never forget.

The Ellie and the Magic Teapot Adventures series follows Ellie Wiilowfern as a little magic teapot sends her on extraordinary journeys to different places and moments in history. Along the way, Ellie meets new friends, discovers fascinating stories, and learns lessons about kindness, conservation, curiosity, acceptance, courage, and understanding.

My goal is to create stories that entertain young readers while encouraging them to ask questions, explore the world around them, and discover the magic of learning.

Each adventure is designed to help children see that there are lessons to be learned all around us. They come from friends that we meet, places we explore, experiences that we have, all can teach us lessons that help us understand the world we live in today.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy exploring new places with my husband and family, dreaming up new adventures for Ellie, and—perhaps fittingly—enjoying a good cup of tea.

I hope Ellie’s adventures inspire children to be curious, kind, openminded, and brave enough to follow their imagination wherever it leads.
