Andrew Broughton

Andrew Broughton is the author of What’s The Point? and creator of the Point Life Orientation Tool (PLOT). A former rugby player, butcher and business owner, he spent decades chasing the life he believed would lead to success. He worked hard, built a successful business and kept pushing forward — but somewhere along the way, he realised he was chasing life rather than living it.

After experiencing illness, personal loss and a period of deep self-reflection, Andrew began to question the way we are taught to build our lives. This led to the development of PLOT, a simple framework for helping people simplify, refocus and create a life that fits.

Through his writing, workshops, conversations and journeys into communities around the world, Andrew explores what it means to live with greater clarity, purpose and freedom. His work is about questioning what we have been told we should want, recognising what is enough, and finding a simpler way to live.
