A.W. Dean

A. W. Dean writes to help Christians build a strong biblical foundation, grow in spiritual maturity, and become better equipped to disciple others. Raised in Texas on the grounds of a Bible camp, he developed an early appreciation for Scripture, teaching, and Christian discipleship.

Dean earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of North Texas while also completing the Bible Training Center for Pastors (BTCP) program through Denton Bible Church. He later earned an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and became a BTCP instructor.

He is ordained and is the founder of Rooted Disciple Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit Christian ministry focused on biblical teaching, discipleship, training, and spiritual growth. His writing emphasizes practical Christianity that is rooted in Scripture, lived out consistently, and passed on to others.

Here Am I, Lord: Building a Biblical Foundation for Discipleship is his first published book.
