About the Author
For more than 50 years, Noel Holdsworth has devoted her life to healthcare, while living a journey richer and more adventurous than most could imagine. Now, in the fourth quarter of her life, her passion has turned to storytelling—stories that celebrate hope, healing, and the extraordinary resilience of the human spirit.
Her work as a nurse, nurse practitioner, therapist, and life-journey coach, specializing in trauma, addiction, psychiatry, and compassion fatigue, has taught her one profound truth: no matter how many times life knocks you down, it is always possible to rise again, recover, and heal.
Inspired by the remarkable people she has met and the lessons she has gathered along the way, Noel has discovered a love for writing fiction that explores recovery, purpose, and joy. She believes fiction offers a unique bridge between science and the unseen dimensions of healing, transforming complex ideas about human potential into stories that entertain, inspire, and linger in the hearts of readers. After years of speaking to audiences, she realized that stories could carry these life-changing messages in ways people would not only understand but remember.
Although her characters and plots are fictional, the emotional truths woven throughout her novels reflect the healing potential that exists within every one of us, regardless of our circumstances.
Early readers describe Noel's stories as impossible to put down, praising her relatable, authentic characters whose journeys stay with them long after the final page.
These uplifting novels differ from Noel's memoir, "Together All Things Are Possible", which chronicles her own inspiring journey toward purpose, healing, and peace.
"Feed the Good, Starve the Sad" is the first in a series of heartfelt, inspiring novels that blend compelling storytelling with timeless wisdom and practical insights for living a fuller, more meaningful life.
The journey is just beginning. Stay tuned for more.
