Karl Holub

Karl J. Holub is a children’s book author and elementary educator based in Streamwood, Illinois. A teacher, husband, father, brother, and friend, he draws inspiration from family, cultural traditions, and the everyday adventures that make childhood memorable.

His books include *Ten Days to Infinity*, *Sofía’s First Catch*, *Sofía’s Big New York Adventure*, *Dori Borealis and the House Giant*, and *Dori Borealis and the Snow Globe Whodunit*. Through humor, friendship, perseverance, and imagination, his stories invite young readers to explore new places and discover possibilities. Spanish editions of select titles help bring these adventures to more readers.

With more than 12 years of teaching experience, a master’s degree, and an ESL endorsement, Karl brings his love of learning to his writing. He is also the creator of **Swoops Learning Books**, featuring Swoops the sugar glider and reading-comprehension workbooks designed to help children build skills and confidence.

Whether writing a family adventure or creating a learning resource, Karl hopes to help children grow as readers—and enjoy the journey along the way.
