Nathan Calder writes weird books about ordinary people who stumble into things they probably would have been better off never finding.
His first novel, *The House That Never Was*, kicks off *The Worlds Between*, a series about impossible houses, overlapping realities, missing pieces of history, and people trying to figure out what the hell is going on before things get worse.
He likes stories that start somewhere familiar and slowly reveal that the world is much bigger, stranger, and more dangerous than anyone realized.
When he’s not writing, he’s probably reading Stephen King, golfing, looking at watches he absolutely does not need, or coming up with another book idea instead of finishing the one he’s already working on.
