KTZ KATZ is a mechanical engineer with bachelor’s and master’s degrees and five years of industry experience in mechanical design, strength of materials, and manufacturing processes. He also teaches physics and mathematics to high school and university students.
He creates focused, challenge-driven books for readers who prefer active learning over passive reading. Each book is built around a clear idea: develop ability through structured challenges, progressive difficulty, and useful feedback.
The Engineering Skills Workbooks series applies this approach to mechanics and statics, guiding students from free-body diagrams to shear-force and bending-moment diagrams through deliberate practice and worked solutions. Other KTZ KATZ titles explore different subjects but share the same emphasis on curiosity, precision, and learning by doing.
