Adam Brice

Adam Brice is an Australian author, songwriter and educator from Melbourne.

His work is grounded in a simple belief: stories can help us notice the people, moments and experiences we might otherwise overlook.

His debut picture book, Back To You, grew from his original song of the same name. Inspired by the experiences of Australian servicemen and women and the families who waited for them, the book explores love, separation, sacrifice and the long journey home.

Adam’s writing is shaped by more than two decades working in education, where he has seen the power of stories to create conversation, build empathy and invite readers to see the world from another perspective.

Whether through a song or a book, Adam is drawn to stories that leave space for the audience to find something of their own within them.

He lives in Melbourne, Australia, with his family.
