David Soliman is the founder of Bridging the Gap, a Houston-based ministry that has served thousands of families in Houston, TX through programs like C.A.R.S., which puts reliable transportation, and renewed hope, within reach of working families. His first book, The Bridge Leads Back Home: Grace to Serve and to Discover the Joy of Discipleship, weaves together stories from Houston to Paris, Anchorage to Egypt, showing how grace moves people from sitting in pews to serving their neighbors.
The son of a pastor whose life modeled quiet, faithful service, David grew up between two worlds, the Middle East and America, and has spent his life building bridges between them: as a business leader, as a consultant to organizations working across Egypt and the region, and as a ministry founder who believes the church's greatest untapped resource is the person sitting in the third row wondering if God can use them.
David writes for the reader who senses there's more: more purpose, more calling, more joy than Sunday attendance alone can hold. His answer is simple and hard-won — the bridge back home runs through serving others.
He lives in the Houston area, where the work continues.
