Majella Munro is a learning designer, writer and educator who believes that all great learning design begins with great writing.
She holds a PhD, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, and a CIPD award in Coaching and Learning & Development. She has worked across multiple sectors and industries on four continents, supporting more than a million learning sessions and managing design teams through onboarding, capability development and upskilling. Most recently, she has designed onboarding and capability programmes for companies serving the AI hyperscalers, including work around model training, ethics and safety, and RLHF.
Alongside learning design, Majella teaches screenwriting and works as a script consultant. That combination has shaped her approach to learning: writing isn't the thing that happens after the design. It is the design process itself.
Through Writing for Learning, she helps learning designers use language, narrative and storytelling to create learning that people remember and act on.
