Peter Griffiths is an Australian author, community advocate and public servant based in Bathurst, New South Wales. Drawing on lived experience and his background in mental health and community services, he explores love, grief, dignity, belonging and the distance between who we are and who we are expected to be.
His late wife, Mandy, inspires his writing and his belief in genuine connection. His books include We Share One Soul, a tribute to Mandy and their love; The Men Who Say They Are Fine, exploring men’s mental health and hidden distress; A Life That Does Not Need Proof, examining social media, self-worth and presence; and After the Caring Ends: The Identity Rebuild Starts, reflecting on identity and purpose after caregiving.
Across his work, Peter invites readers to look beyond labels and expectations, recognising that everyone deserves to be seen, heard and valued for who they are.
