Martin Steiner

Martin Steiner is an author based in North Wales. His working life has spanned engineering, running a manufacturing business, management consultancy and university teaching, giving him a first-hand view of how new technology changes real workplaces and the people in them. He also writes and records music as Martin K Steiner with Rhyl Recordings. The Hours We Keep: Ordinary Lives in the Artificial Intelligence Revolution is his book for general readers. It asks what AI will actually feel like for the people living through it: their work, their time, their identity and their communities. It avoids both hype and doom.
