Gary C. Johnson JD

Gary C. Johnson, JD, is an attorney, educator, and former corporate ethics and compliance executive. He holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Technology from Jacksonville State University and a J.D. from Birmingham School of Law. His work has included manufacturing and quality systems, employment law, college teaching, and decades of Christian ministry and theological study.

He wrote The Machine and the Maker after hearing serious warnings that advanced artificial intelligence could threaten humanity’s future. Drawing on his experience with risk, accountability, and faith, he examines those warnings with care and asks a deeper question: Who holds the future?
