D. M. Cummings is a storyteller, history lover, and full-time grandfather from upstate New York. His historical novel Henry brings to life his own fifth great-grandfather, a real Revolutionary War soldier — a true story that also inspired the children's picture book Henry and the Sparrow.
When he's not digging through archives for his Patriot Legacy Project, he spends his days with his grandson Mason, the inspiration for the Mason Goes... picture book series. He runs The Funky Clucker, a shop dealing in vintage comics and video games, and is writing SÉAMUS, an Irish-inspired fantasy novel.
He lives in Buffalo, New York, with his wife.
