Joe Basile

I am Joe Basile. 18+ years ago, I was on vacation in St. Barths with my girlfriend Yelena. On our last day of vacation, I was in a terrible accident. I was hit in the head by the tire of a departing airplane. I was in an immediate coma! After a day, the St. Barths hospital said there was nothing they could have done to save me. So I was flown to Guadeloupe. But after 4 days, they also said there was nothing they could do to save me either. So I was then flown to Miami to refuel the "puddle jumper" plane I was put on. Then lastly, I was flown to Teterboro Airport, where an ambulance took me to Columbia Hospital. The best hospital in America, if you are in a coma. But after coming out of my coma, 6 weeks later, I was transported to Kessler Rehabilitation Center. They are the best Rehab Center in the State of New Jersey. I spent a very long time at Kessler. I was there from October until the end of January! I had to "relearn" a lifetime of information & my daily skills that were going to be necessary to live. This was an incredibly difficult time in my life, to say the least. But I am still here! Read my book. I promise that you will be amazed by my life. Promise.
