Anton Carter

Anton Carter is a British editor based in London. Remainder Press, his publishing project, brings together writings from across the traditions of the communist left in edited, well designed editions accessible to readers without a specialist background. He undertakes the work as a contribution from one comrade to the workers in their struggle for communism.

Carter believes that only the working class can be the vehicle of revolution. The role of the communist is to draw lessons from past struggles, clarify the revolutionary programme and contribute to the political development of class consciousness. His editorial work is an attempt to narrow the distance between the communist programme and the class that alone can realise it.
