Sie wurde auch in vielen Fahrzeugen eingebaut, um die Umrüstung vorzubereiten, jedoch nie in ihrem ur…sprünglichen Sinne benutzt - die betreffenden Fahrzeuge sind mittlerweile ausgemustert, ohne daß eine einheitliche Mittelpufferkupplung eingeführt worden wäre.
