An den Musikwissenschaftler und Wagnerbiographen Richard Batka mit Überlegungen zur Wagnerforschung, zum Bayreuther Operngeschehen, insbesondere zum Parzifal und zum Verkauf der Parzifal-Partitur an Schott, da er die Gründe dazu von Hans von Wolzogen (1848-1938) erfahren habe. Der Übersetzer der Werke Wagners ins Englische, W. Ashton Ellis (1852-1919), habe ihm, Schlösser, den dritten Band der englischen Ausgabe von Carl Friedrich Glasenapp (1847-1915) geschickt, zu welcher Schlösser Kritik äußert. Zuletzt mit der Bitte, den Publizisten Ferdinand Avenarius (1856-1923) zu fragen, ob der Satz des Wortes "Gobineau" der Druckerei wirklich so schwer falle: "Die Frage nach dem ideellen und dem künstlerischen Wert des Parzifal fällt daher für mich vollkommen in Eins zusammen. Ob diese Weltanschauung auch die meine ist, steht auf einem andern Blatt. Das hat Nietzsche, der in vielem eben doch zeitlebens ein deutscher Professor geblieben ist, verkannt und damit endloses Unheil angerichtet [.]".
