This is the location of a fabulous trove, the fortunes of the kings of France. It was last used by Marie Antoinette and Alessandro Cagliostro. When a youth, Isidore Beautrelet, discovers the Cha^teau de l'Aiguille in the department of Creuse, he thinks he has discovered the location of the French treasure. But that cha^teau was built by Louis XIV to distract hunters from the true needle which is in Normandy, near Le Havre, and where Arse`ne Lupin is in hiding, using his alias, Louis Valmeras ; Maurice Marie Émile Leblanc was a French novelist and writer of short stories, known primarily as the creator of the fictional gentleman thief and detective Arsène Lupin, often described as a French counterpart to Arthur Conan Doyle's creation Sherlock Holmes. ; John Whitworth Robson (1881-1946) was a student of Howard Pyle's in Philadelphia, and studied with Lester G. Hornby in New York City. While in Paris, he studied print making, mezzotint, drawing in pencil, pen, charcoal, pen & ink and pastel. He also produced a few small paintings in oil.
