Dust jacket ever so slightly shelfworn, but not price clipped. A native of Moscow, Texas, Ramon F. Adams was an avid collector of the language of the range, trail, and cow camps of the West for more than half a century. He wrote several books on the western range and is well-known for his bibliographies. His authoritative SIX-GUNS was the first bibliography of the books and pamphlets concerning western outlaws and gunmen. He is also the author of RAMPAGING HERD (1959). In 1968 Austin College awarded him an honorary degree of Doctor of Literature in recognition of his numerous contributions to western history.
