These were done under contract to the U. S. Air Force and the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission. Illustrated with diagrams, drawings and tipped in photographs. Alexander Weir, Jr. worked on the Manhattan Project during WWII and engineered America's first ICBM (the Atlas Missle.) The book is in good condition with slight shelfwear/bumping to edges. The interior is clean and tight. There are 22 pages that had been paperclipped and their is a rust stain on 2 pages and a small tear on one 1/4". The spine is dark red with gold text. Size: 4to.
