1st edition chipped dust jacket Nice Copy octavo xi + 306pp., b/w plates, index, Foulois was instrumental in the making of US aviation. He cultivated Hermann Goering & Ernst Udet in post-WWI Berlin for espionage purposes. No man was ever more admired byn the pilots who served under him; no man was ever more roundly criticised by Washington bureaucrats. Nice copy in bright blue boards in a slightly chipped dust jacket. Scarce.
