[Movie Memorabilia] DISTRIBUTOR'S CAMPAIGN BOOKLET. Folio (38 x 26cm), a single folded sheet of card with one leaf inserted. Illustrated in blue and orange to front cover, concerning the musical comedy film 'Tickle Me' starring Elvis Presley and Jocelyn Lane. Two hole-punch marks near spine. Light handling, and one small tear near head of spine. Near fine. A rare promotional brochure sent to box office managers in the UK, encouraging them to invest in extra advertising material and merchandise, including LP's of the songs in this musical.

Draft script for the 1958 film. Copy belonging to actress Lyn Thomas, with annotations throughout relating to her character in the film, Laura. A space probe returns to earth bearing an unusual extraterrestrial fungus which, when accidentally mixed with human blood, turns into space rust. The rust expands rapidly, threatening to consume the entire planet. Produced on a tight budget, $125,00 with $25,000 for the screenwriters, and rushed to production so that the release would coincide with the Explorer launch. Shot on location in California. Red untitled wrapper, lacking front wrapper. Title page present, dated March 7, 1958, with credits for screenwriters Daniel Mainwaring and George Worthing Yates. 108 leaves, with last page of text numbered 102. mechanical duplication, with blue, pink, and yellow revision pages throughout, dated variously between 3/4/58 and 3/13/58. Based on the unpublished story "Queen of the Universe" by Ben Hecht. Sci-fi comedy portraying an epic battle of the sexes. Talleah (Zsa Zsa Gabor) is from the planet Venus, assigned to destroy four Earth men at the behest of her queen, Yilana (Laurie Mitchell), who secretly yearns for interstellar peace. Phillipe Delambre (Brett Halsey) takes up his father's work of matter transmission, and with his uncle Francois (Vincent Price) they accidentally produce a monstrous creature, a man with the head of a fly.
