Pages are moderately tanned with visible foxing. Visible cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible sunning & crushing to spine. Gilt lettering has darkened. Book has a slight forward lean.

In a black cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, generally smart. Some light rubbing and wear to the top and tail of the spine. Spine is also slightly cocked. Front hinge is slightly tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little browned and foxed to predominantly front and rear pastedowns and free-end papers. Edges of leaves are a little burnished. Very Good Indeed. book.
