This edition contains the 1854 London Volumes XI & XII, with their original title pages, with the single Lippincott 1856 title page placed at the front for the U.S. edition. Book.

Moderate cracking to gutters and front hinge, exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with visible tanning, rubbing and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier rubbing and tanning with soft splitting, chipping and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
