Several spine creases, binding is not cracked, light wear to the corners and edges, sparsely scattered foxing through the first 15 pages. Text clean. Hard to classify genre- labeled as non-fiction by the publishers, it is apparently a novelized chronicle. Paperback. First Ed thus, later printing. Very Good+ in Wraps: shows indications of very light use: light wear to extremities; mild rubbing and faint soiling to the wrapper covers; there is a rough patch near the bottom edge of the front panel [perhaps due to a former owner's removing the price]; binding square, but shows a couple of faint creases at the back strip, and remains secure; text clean. No longer pristine, but remains close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. 336pp. First Ed thus, later printing. Trade Paperback. William Craddack was a participant observer during a time wracked with change and birth. A minor character playing out his life in what begins as a backwater town of the movement. The window he provides us is not ornate with suppositions. It is only an aluminum slide window so common in homes in the San Jose area in the 1960's and 70's William Craddack is a reluctant foot soldier and a damned good story teller. I chanced upon his tome when I was in the 8th grade and my single copy went from hand to hand and through all the social groups that made up our school's culture. Be Not Content became our manifesto.

Paperback. Condition: Fair. SIGNED by the author with a gift inscription which reads "A brother from the old days and a brother still- keep on keeping on, Bill Craddock". The book has substantial stains and wear to the cover and outer pages and fore-edge. The pages in general are yellowed and foxed from age and some corners curled and creased. There's also a sight waviness to the pages from prior water exposure. Not a beautiful condition but definitely usable and collectible due to the rarity of this signed edition.
